Great ring, gorgeous in person! Mar 16, 2009
My boyfriend and I both wear promise rings, and he didn't have his yet. After searching on amazon, this one showed up and it's perfect.
He wanted a ring that looked masculine without looking too much like a wedding band, had a different colored center, was made out of a strong metal, was not hundreds of dollars, and looked nice without being gaudy or cheap. This ring fits all of those criteria.
In person it looks very classy while still being understated. The ring is a good thickness and sturdy. We haven't had any problems with the gold plating and he's been wearing it every day since Christmas.
The only thing that is a small issue is that the edges of it aren't rounded at all and tend to catch on things. I suggest having a jeweler take the edge off a little bit. It's not sharp, but there's definitely an edge.
All in all this ring is fantastic. The company also is wonderful. They shipped the ring out to me VERY fast and I got it within days of ordering. The package is not marked that it's from a jewelry company, so you don't have to worry about thieves. Also, they put everything in a nice box, which is in a beautiful blue drawstring bag. The presentation is perfect.
I'll definitely order from this company again!
